Back Pain

Nearly 65 million Americans suffers from back pain at some point in their life. Back pain is a leading cause of disability worldwide, and is one of the most common reasons for missed work.

 
Sometimes that back pain extends down into the buttocks and leg and may be impinging on the sciatic nerve.  Sciatica is a condition that Dr. Rachum sees everyday with his patients.  Chiropractic offers pain relief that is safe, effective and low cost.  Dr. Rachum will put together a treatment plan for you that could include electric stim, heat therapy, manual adjustments, flexion, activator, stretching exercises or traction.  Sometimes, if a patient is agreeable, he will combine acupuncture with the chiropractic treatment.

Acupuncture is another treatment method that is great for sciatica or back pain along with other pain conditions.  Dr. Rachum is experienced in Chinese, Korean, Battlefield and auriculotherapy acupuncture.  Acupuncture and chiropractic are very complimentary treatment methods that approach the issue from different perspectives.  Chiropractic approaches from the physical and mechanical side and acupuncture helps with healing and pain relief.

I have been going to Dr Rachum's office for as long as I can remember. It is a family run business and the nicest most honest people ever! I go for chronic pain that is helped immensely by his treatment and every once in awhile he helps me with a sports injury. My wife  says I am too old to play sports but with Dr Rachum around I believe I can play on forever! To be honest  5 stars is not nearly enough!
